Meet Megan
I am a lifelong learner, and this is one of the reasons I love working at Foundations for Learning. It gives me the opportunity to not only learn and grow myself but to help others learn and grow along with me.
I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to homeschool two of my children through early elementary school, and literacy and learning are valued by all of us.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Community Studies Degree from Cape Breton University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Anthropology/Sociology. I have also completed a Certificate Program in Public Administration. While I’m not continuing formal studies at this time, I keep myself occupied with academic writing and research with a focus on community trauma.
When I’m not working or writing I enjoy reading, crafting, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my family and pets.
